Is there an application fee?
Yes. A $25 non-refundable application fee is required for each application.
Does Sonrise Properties do background checks?
Yes. Each applicant must consent to a criminal history background check, credit check, and submit written authorization for this screening.
How do I get an in-person tour of the home?
Viewing appointments are scheduled with qualifying applicants after your applications and application fees are received. If the home is currently occupied, Sonrise Properties gives the current resident a minimum 24-hour notice.
What is the application process?
To be considered for residency each applicant age 18 or older must submit the following:
1. A completed application
2. Application fees
3. Copy of applicant’s valid driver’s license
4. Proof of income
5. Signed consent for a background check
How do I get an application?
Complete the contact form below. Then the manager will email you an information packet containing Sonrise Properties’ application.
Are utilities included?
No. Utilities are the resident’s responsibility and must be in the tenant’s name before property access is granted.
How do I pay the application fee?
Accepted forms of payment are personal check, teller’s check, or a money order. To begin application processing, the application fee must be included with your completed application.
Does Sonrise Properties allow pets?
Some of our properties allow pre-approved pets on an individual case-by-case basis. There are additional fees with approved pets.
Sonrise Properties requires that dogs be confined in an, appropriately sized, indoor kennel or pet crate when no one is home.
Is there a minimum income requirement to qualify?
Yes. Applicants combined gross monthly income less monthly debt must be at least three times the monthly rent amount.
Does Sonrise Properties rent to smokers?
All our properties are smoke-free residences. However, we do rent to smokers who abide by our smoke-free policies. Smoking is permitted in personal vehicles and outside, never inside the dwellings, garages, sheds, or other structures.
Are Section 8 vouchers accepted?
Sonrise Properties does NOT accept Section 8.
